| Brown Hairstreak eggs are relatively
easy to locate. This is not true of Black Hairstreak. The year
2004 was a bonanza year for Black Hairstreak with record numbers of
adults seen in many locations. This has provided an opportunity for
many members to successfully locate eggs for the first time. Two Brown Hairstreak eggs were found on Hawthorn - see photo below! |
